Nukubati Island will be pleased to arrange your memorable legal wedding ceremony. You can choose any location on the island. The most popular choice is on the beach at sunset. The ceremony can be conducted by a civil celebrant or our local church minister, Father Charlie, and accompanied by a village church choir or the very popular Nukubati Serenaders. You may even choose to buy or hire traditional Fijian Wedding Costumes.

Venue:
A wedding at Nukubati is truly an unforgettable experience. Weddings are usually held at sunset on the beach or any one of a number or romantic locations on the island. Two Fijian warriors escort the bride to the groom; you also have the option of being transported by a Fijian wedding raft decorated with flowers. The warriors gently sail you to your waiting groom. A magical fairytale come true!

License:
Allow 3 working days at Nukubati prior to your wedding to obtain marriage licence. Our staff take you to the Labasa Registrar's Office on a weekday to sign the relevant papers. To obtain the Marriage Licence, passports and birth certificates are required and in the case of a second marriage, either a Decree Nisi or Death certificate as applicable. The couple are to attend the Registry Office in person to complete the legalities. Fijian Law requires that both parties be over 21 years. Please note that weddings cannot be held on Saturday or Sunday.

- Applicants from China, Philippines, Pakistan and India are to apply one month in advnace for their marriage.

Renewal of Vows - $945 USD
Nukubati Island offers married couples a relaxing and rejuvenating Renewal of Vows celebration on an unspoilt and thoroughly romantic location.

This fee includes Choir, floral decorations, attendants, Nukubati Tropical Cake, Candle-lit celebration dinner/Champagne Breakfast, Kava Ceremony.
