Bula from Namale
Welcome to one of the most delicious resorts in all of the Fiji Islands. Susan and I arrived in a whirlwind from Nadi. Our flight arrived late and we were whisked away to Namale to broadcast our weekly radio show. It all worked out well.
And be sure to visit mccoytravelradio.com to listen to the show we broadcast live with Mike Brown from my office in the studio on Maui, Mark Kitchen (the Manager of Namale) and Melissa and Susan as we discussed Australia vacations,
Fiji vacations and the fabulous Namale resort.
Our time at Namale, 4 nights, was punctuated with everything from the most pampering to the most joyful and beyond. When you arrive at Namale Resort Spa Sanctuary you drive through acres of lush tropical plants and trees only
to arrive to the whole resort singing to welcome you to their paradise. Their singing envelopes you as you step from the Namale van on to terra firma Fiji style. Your eyes are dazzled with 20 smiling faces, bright white against their
Chocolate brown faces and welcoming eyes. At once you melt and the world you flew away from 36 hours before begins it’s journey to being a distant memory! At least, while you are Namale!
Susan and I were delivered to one of Namale’s most enchanting “bures”, Tatadra House (Dream House). Situated right on the cliff overlooking the pulsing ocean, the elongated deck invites you to relax in the cool refreshing plunge pool or one of the many chase lounges. When you walk into Tatadra (a grand bure) you are overtaken with WOW. Rich green tiles under your feet and overstuffed chairs and couches in rich deep colors of the tropics. Floor to ceiling glass louvers give you
the feel of having the outdoors all around you. And...
Please come back as the rest of the story will be up shortly. Susan’s birthday day! We never left Tatadra House (Dream House). A refrigerator full of Veuve Clicquot.. More to come.. More pictures and more stories.
Sota tale (see you later)
