Lalati Resort, located on the remote island of Beqa in Fiji, is a world class, 5-star resort Noted particularly for spectacular scuba diving in Beqa Lagoon, Lalati also introduces a brand new Loloma spa featuring an infinity pool, hot tub, exercise and media room. As one of Fiji's most intimate resorts Lalati is the perfect venue for a wedding or honeymoon.


Carefully cut out of rainforest, the property has ten acres of white sand beaches and seven bures. Guest bures are spaciously laid out providing large sleeping and sitting areas which accommodate a maximum of four persons. Each suite has its own bath and shower area. Wooden-louvered and fan-cooled, bures look to the sea from oversized, covered verandahs.



Scuba Diving: At Lalati Resort there are world-class dive sites just a few minutes boat ride away. Beqa Lagoon is one of those destinations about which dive magazines rave about. Diving in these gin clear waters is considered by many to be one of the ultimate dive experiences in the world. Our two catamarans are built for speed, comfort, and ease of ocean entry and exit. You may also snorkel or shore dive.

Surfing: A boat ride away on the fringing reef of the Beqa Lagoon is Frigate's Passage; one of the best surf breaks in Fiji and all the world. Frigate's surf is a powerful and consistent hollow left. The deep, open, Pacific Ocean swells create the long workable ride for which Frigate's is famous. A choice of two powerful, stable catamarans brings you out to the break and remains with you while you enjoy your surfing. Energy sustaining lunches and snacks are provided.

Kayaking: Want to take a break from diving and surfing? Simple. Launch a kayak and paddle over to the secluded beach across the bay, or grab a windsurfer and let Malamu Bay's sea breezes do the work. Kayak through the peaceful mangroves and take in the cathedral-like experience. If you'd like to kayak, snorkel or dive but you haven't had the chance before, we can arrange appropriate instruction.



Lalati's pacific rim food is legendary among guests. Beato and his staff creatively blend regional fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, and imported meats into skillfully-seasoned and artfully-presented meals. Favourite dinners include the Sesame-Seared Ahi with Wasabi Sauce, the New Zealand Rack of Lamb, and the Walu with Lemon-Caper Sauce.
