This was once the treasured property of Raymond Burr, the Hollywood star of Perry Mason and Ironside. The two existing houses have been transformed into a gourmet restaurant and six inspirational bures with a very modern flavor are dotted around the location of Burr’s orchid garden.
All accommodation is designed fro double or single occupancy only.
Fiji Orchid’s guest accommodation consists of
six freestanding bures and two dayrooms.
Constructed of aluminum frames, with timber
wall and floor panelling and glass bi-fold doors,
the bures are 80 square metres in area. The
special design includes a white textile
membrane roof, cut to the shape of a buré;
the traditional Fijian-style house.
All bures are air-conditioned, with a king-size
bed, sitting area, en-suite stone and timber
trim bathroom with a shower, and a large
verandah and terrace.
In the main house, there are two day rooms with ensuites for short stays. Between flights, travelers can cool off in the natural landscaped pool or be pampered in the massage bure, which offers Fijian inspired treatments.
